Description

This knife was developed to address the requirements of individuals who worked in situations where grip may be compromised such as cold, wet environments. The SOCFK is widely used by waterborne teams in the Navy, Marines, and Army. This hybrid knife is the result of crossing the world standard CQC-7 and the hardcore SPECWAR knife. This crossbred knife is a direct result of specific requests by operators who wanted the proven characteristics of the CQC-7 blade, the size and handle ergonomics of the SPECWAR knife and the wave opening (remote pocket opener) of the Commander knife. It is the first knife outside of the Commander series to employ the wave-opening feature. Basically, this knife was designed by operators, built for operators and used by operators. This knife has all the characteristics needed to put it into the world’s elite class of knives. Knives that meet and exceed the unique demands of the elite special forces units of the U.S. Navy, Army, and Marine Corps.

  1. Dave L.

Been carrying this knife for over 2 years and its never let me down. The materials and design are hardcore. The ergo grip fits in the hand comfortably! I give these as gifts.

From the moment I took it out of the box the quality of this knife was evident. It is rock solid and the action is smooth as glass. Everything about this knife speaks quality. Great handle, excellent steel. Amazing! The liner lock is a bit stiff but in time will break in I’m sure. Excellent work Mr Emerson! It was also a pleasure dealing with Extreme Outfitters. My full recommendation to anyone and without a doubt I will deal with them again.

  3. Customer (West Coast)

I’ve owned this Emerson in both Tanto and Drop Point configuration. Both held up extremely well under all kinds of conditions and uses (with the Tanto used to go thru a car hood when someone attempted to run me down. Next cut was a very effective smash to the windshield!) And when the knives just couldn’t be sharpened any longer on a stone, Emerson put the knives back to original physical condition and cutting edge (nothing can be done for the black coating, but who needs a painted knife anyways?). And not to forget, the Wave Opener function: it absolutely rocks! Works as advertised, opens as the knife is pulled from the pocket, and you’re ready to take care of business. Nice! So no hesitations here recommending this knife to anyone that’s serious about what they carry.
