It’s that time of year again! New bows are hitting the market, and today, we’re excited to introduce one of the most anticipated releases: the NEW for 2025 PSE Mach 33 Compound Bow. Whether you’re an experienced archer or just getting started, this bow is sure to catch your attention. In this blog, we’ll dive into its specs, features, and performance—plus, we put the Mach 33 to the test by shooting it at different draw lengths with various arrow weights to see what this beast can do.

Overview of the PSE Mach 33

PSE has been on a roll with their carbon bows in recent years, with previous models like the Levitate, Mach 34, and the award-winning Mach 30 (which earned Best Compound Bow of 2024 by Outdoor Life). Now, with the Mach 33, PSE is setting the bar even higher for 2025.

The PSE Mach 33 compound bow is designed to replace the Mach 34 in PSE’s lineup, offering archers a new sweet spot in terms of axle-to-axle (ATA) length. With the 30-inch and now the 33-inch ATA bows available, PSE covers all the bases for hunters and target shooters alike.

Key Features of the Mach 33 Compound Bow

Here are some of the standout features that make the PSE Mach 33 an excellent choice for 2025:

EZ 220 Shim System

This is a fan favorite at Extreme Outfitters. It simplifies bow tuning by allowing you to move the cam without having to remove axles or cams, making adjustments easy and efficient.

Integrated Rest Option

Like most bows now you have your option to run an integrated rest. This helps keep your accessories inline providing a stable platform at full draw. You can mount your favorite integrated rests from brands like QAD, Hamskea, or Ripcord with ease on the PSE Mach 33 Compound Bow.

Picatinny Mount

Whether you prefer a Picatinny-mounted sight or want to direct-mount it to the riser, the PSE Mach 33 Compound Bow offers versatility.

EC2 Cam

The EC2 cam is designed for a smooth, consistent draw cycle from start to finish. The rotating mod allows you to change the draw length, and the let-off can be adjusted between 80-90%.

Full Draw Stability

This feature increases the effective brace height for a more stable shot and reduces hand torque, improving accuracy.

Limb Vise Pocket System

Ensures better stability by tightening the limb pivots against the handle surface, keeping the pocket centered over the riser no matter the limb bolt position.

Let’s dive into the speeds the Mach33 is producing through our chronograph.

At a draw weight of 70lbs, 26″ draw length at 90 percent let off with a 400 gr arrow we got a consistent speed of 269.5 FPS and with a 500gr arrow we clocked it at 237.7FPS.

After shooting it at 26″ we stretched it out another tw0 inch for those longer draw length shooters to 28″ at the same 70lbs 90 percent let off. With the 400 gr arrow we got 287.5FPS and with the 500gr arrow we got 256.8FPS.

Our final test was at 30″ of draw length. With the 400gr arrow we got a whooping 307.8FPS and with the 500gr arrow we got 277.9FPS.

@ 26" Draw Length - Test - FPS

400 Grain Arrows ► 269.5FPS
500 Grain Arrows ► 237.7FPS

@ 28" Draw Length - Test - FPS

400 Grain Arrows ► 287.5FPS
500 Grain Arrows ► 256.8FPS

@ 30" Draw Length - Test - FPS

400 Grain Arrows ► 307.8FPS
500 Grain Arrows ► 277.9FPS

As you can see, the PSE Mach 33 Compound Bow delivers excellent speed across the board, with impressive results even at shorter draw lengths. Whether you’re hunting or target shooting, this bow provides a stable and smooth experience, with virtually no hand shock after the shot. The draw cycle is exactly what you’d expect from PSE, very smooth and consistent with out a hump or dump in the draw cycle. Being a 70lb bow the EC2 cam is very efficient and puts up great speeds in a smooth fun to shoot package.

What did we learn from our 2025 PSE Mach 33 Compound Bow Review?

The 2025 PSE Mach 33 compound bow is set to be a top contender in the world of carbon bows. Its 33-inch ATA makes it versatile enough for both hunting and target shooting, while the lightweight design and smooth EC2 cam system ensure a pleasant shooting experience. Plus, the clay brown and olive green color options add a sleek, modern look to this high-performance bow.

Once again, PSE has knocked it out of the park with a carbon bow that not only performs well but also feels great in hand. Whether you’re looking for a new hunting bow or something for 3D archery, the Mach 33 is a must-try.
