Our Take on the Victory RIP TKO Gamer
The RIP TKO Gamer may actually be the version that makes the most sense for a lot of hunters.
You are still getting the same basic RIP TKO hunting platform: the .204" small-diameter shaft, 3K carbon weave, factory spine alignment, ICE coating, weight matching, and 50-grain stainless SHOK™ insert.
The main thing you are giving up compared with the Elite is straightness tolerance. The Gamer is ±.003" instead of ±.001".
For someone who wants the absolute tightest shaft sorting available, the Elite makes sense. But for a hunting arrow where value matters and you still want the durability and component system of the RIP TKO, the Gamer is an extremely compelling option.
We also would not look at the Gamer as a less durable version of the Elite. The straightness grade is what changes. You are not stepping down into a completely different lightweight shaft construction just because you choose Gamer.
That is why we like this version for customers who want a premium-feeling hunting platform without paying for a tolerance they may not personally need.
