The Standard variant is the straight mount. The 7° drop variant angles the mount downward to better accommodate quick disconnect systems — and it's been designed and tested to fit all mainstream quick disconnect drops on the market including Mathews, Shrewd, Bee Stinger, and more. If you run a 10° quick disconnect, the 7° drop variant is confirmed compatible with that configuration.
